Testimonials

Vicki’s session with the horses was amazing and insightful. It was enjoyed by all of our leadership team. Some team members actively participated in the ring with the horse, whilst others were more comfortable observing. Regardless of the type of involvement each  team member had, it allowed the whole team the opportunity to be open and there for each other during the process. I would highly recommend Vicki and her program to all!

I had the privilege of attending Vicki’s session titled ‘Understanding Your Strengths and Leading with Confidence’ at the Women In Professional Leadership Summit in Sydney. Her presentation had an impact and real content about the importance of empathy, communication (and the myriad of ways we communicate) and taking the team with you. It was a compelling session which I encourage you to replicate across genders! Congratulations.

I had the immense pleasure of having Vicki in class several years ago. She has a unique ability to connect the dots, to see how two (or more) things can be integrated to make something brand new, and to see how that something can be of great practical value. She is enthusiastic and passionate, and can transform the room. I look forward to speaking to her just to hear her ideas.

“Tell me, and I forget. Teach me, and I remember. Involve me, and I learn.” Vicki’s leadership course could not have provided any better hands-on training to reinforce many essential leadership attributes. To be able to practise and experience the most critical aspects of leadership by interacting with horses - which you can’t talk to and can’t verbally respond to you - can be confronting and rewarding.

The visual learning and direct participation with the horses could not be delivered in a ‘typical’ training session in a corporate office work environment. You need to experience it for yourself to understand how much your interactions with a horse are parallel to those with your work peers (no matter their level of experience) and family members at home. Dare to try something different and go beyond your comfort zone - all part of being a great

My trepidation in trying something new was tempered by both Vicki’s passion with horses and the concept that a horse could help you to understand how others perceive you.

Often those barriers that you put up as an individual get in the way of how people might perceive who you are and the objectives that jointly you are trying to achieve. This is important throughout your career but also as you provide leadership and direction to others.

Having experienced a few hours with Vicki, I believe there is a lot to be gained from a course that allows you to have a practical hands-on experience as to how you may impact your team, but also shows you that leadership can be something that you can learn.

University courses provide an intellectual discussion of leadership; Vicki’s program provides the opportunity for aspiring leaders to understand what leadership may mean in practice.
